Polish government to increase the spending on national defense
Poland is going to accelerate changes in the financing of the Polish army, local media reported on Monday. The Polish government is working on a law increasing the spending on national defense. The changes will allow the Polish army each year to spend 800 million zloty (about 256 million U.S. dollars) more than now, mostly on equipment and training.

According to the local media, the vice chief of Polish National Defense Ministry, Czeslaw Mroczek, said in an interview that the Polish army wants to increase the mobility of the armed forces and its firepower, especially in the field of missiles.

Some experts express the opinion that more money should be invest in the purchase of anti-craft and anti-tank defense measures, preferably with the use of the potential of the Polish defense industry.
