At
MSPO 2014, the International Defense Industry equipment which takes place
from 1st to 4th September 2014 in Poland, STREIT Group exhibits for the
first time its Puma
4x4 Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC). STREIT Group is participating
in MSPO Defense Exhibition, in Kielce, Poland, which marks another milestone
in the company’s global expansion. |

Founded in 1992, in Canada, by Chief Executive Guerman Goutorov, STREIT Group has expanded over the years to become the world’s leading privately owned armored vehicles manufacturer. STREIT Group is well established in Africa and the Middle East and is currently establishing its presence in Asia-Pacific, Latin American and Eastern European markets. Mr Goutorov says: “It will be good to introduce ourselves to customers from this region, this is a very important defence exhibition, with an impressive scale and setting that gives exhibitors the best possible opportunity to showcase their products. It is essential to our growth strategy in the area that we should take part.” The multi-functional and adaptable PUMA is designed to protect its occupants against ballistic threats up to STANAG 4569, Level B6 and can be upgraded to B7. With its 4x4 maneuverability, nimble performance and aggressive stance, it can safely navigate in the most challenging of urban environments. It is also highly customizable to meet any requirements for specific missions. The hull of the Puma is a fully encapsulated armour structure that offers excellent blast and ballistic protection. The vehicle entire armoured structure has been designed with the application of the latest technology and finest armoured steel base, thus providing 100% security from ballistic and blast threats. The Puma can carry a total of nine people including driver and commander. The vehicle can be used for a wide range of missions including peacekeeping operations. The Puma provides an excellent mobility which can be utilized in either rural and urban areas, with its powerful engine and automatic gearbox the vehicle is ideal for rough terrain and obstacle crossing operations. |
