The Israeli-made CombatGuard 4x4 armoured vehicle tested by armed forces of Turkmenistan.
According a video footage released by the Turkmen TV, The Israeli-made CombatGuard 4x4 armoured vehicle developed and designed by the Company IMI (Israel Military Industries) has been tested during the military exercise "Vatan" by Armed Forces of Turkmenistan.

The Israeli-made CombatGuard 4x4 armoured vehicle was presented to the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.

The CombatGuard has been developed to response to the changing warfare conditions, offering unprecedented speed, mobility and protection even in the most rugged terrain.

The CombatGuard offers an incredible off-road capabilities thanks to the use of he Ido Off-Road Center, which developed the Zibar racer and other less extreme off-road military scout vehicles.

The CombatGuard is motorized with a 300 hp. Cobra Turbo Diesel engine mounted at the rear of the vehicle. The CombatGuard is able to reach a maximum road speed of 150 km/h and 120 km/h in off-road conditions with a maximum cruising range from 500 to 800 km.

For its selfprotection, the CombatGurad can be fitted with a remote weapon station which can be armed with a 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine gun.

The CombatGuard is built based on a monocoque capsule which provides all around ballistic protection against firing of small arms AP (Armour Piercing) rounds, IED (Improvised Explosive Device) and EFP (Explosive Formed Projectile).
