A new four-seat turbo diesel MRZR™ ultralight tactical vehicle is on display for the first time at IDEX 2017, in collaboration with Specialized Sports Equipment, the largest Polaris dealer in the Middle East. Recent major contract awards for the Polaris MRZR-D4 include Canada, U.S. Special Forces and the U.S. Marine Corps.

Polaris also just announced the world-premiere launch of the two-seat turbo diesel MRZR-D. MRZRs have redefined ultralight, off-road mobility for military vehicles and are mission critical for expeditionary forces in the U.S. and more than 25 allied countries to meet mission demands.
Contracts are steady for Polaris with two Middle East tenders in December and one European customer just awarded a contract earlier this year for MRZRs and MV 850 all-terrain vehicles for a total value of more than US$1.6 million. |

“For the second time this year, we’re adding another vehicle to the popular and powerful MRZR lineup,” said John Olson, vice president and general manager of Polaris Government and Defense. “We work with a very mission-driven culture as part of a highly innovative commercial company that is the leader in the global powersports industry. That means our customers get the best technology and capabilities tailored to their needs in the vehicles we deliver – backed by robust, large-scale design, development, testing and production of those vehicles.”
The flexible MRZR vehicle platform can be configured a number of ways to fulfill rapid personnel deployment, casualty evacuation and supply transport missions. The MRZRs off-road mobility, heavy fuel compatibility and internal transport certifications on vertical-lift aircraft make it a force multiplier for light infantry units. The vehicles are proven, cost-effective, reliable and easily maintained with a commercial supply chain and the Polaris global network. |
