At IDEX 2017, the most important show in the Middle East, held in Abu Dhabi (19-23 February). Numerous armoured vehicles (NIMR JAIS, General Dynamics LAV 700,...) were equipped with Jankel's BLASTech seats. Jankel is a world class specialist in armoured/light tactical vehicles, protection systems and customised occupant survivability solutions.

The BLASTech family of products are an affordable, battle-proven and optimised technology from Jankel. Developed to enhance a military platform’s protection, BLASTech increases survivability and decreases severity of injury to the seated occupants when the vehicle is subjected to an anti-tank mine or Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

Energy Attenuation Seat Technology has been tested extensively by Jankel, trialled independently by UK and US government laboratories and delivered in large numbers to a variety of customers. To date Jankel have sold over 60,000 seats worldwide. Key features include a unique an automatic weight adjustment system and reset mechanism for the secondary (slam down) event. BLASTech seating is in MRAP vehicles around the world.
