At IDET 2017, Katmerciler is presenting its innovative solutions for armed forces and security forces, with its wide defense portfolio of products, including armored combat vehicle, armored personnel carrier, armored ambulance and concealed armoring technology.

Katmerciler has been highly appreciated with its innovative products for Security Forces and Turkish Armed Forces as being the second biggest army of NATO and still draws the attention of international sector in defense fairs thanks to its wide range of portfolio.
Katmerciler’s most favorite vehicle is Tactical Wheeled Armored vehicle HIZIR. Having completed road and performance tests successfully, HIZIR was launched during High Tech Port in Turkey in 2016 with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. HIZIR is the tactical wheeled armored vehicle having the highest motor power of its class in Turkish defense industry. Moreover, Katmerciler has led the way to an important innovation in the sector with its composite ceramic concealed armoring system. NEFER is a composite based armoring system lighter than armor steel and therefore, it does not make the vehicle heavy when providing the same protection level with APCs and Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicles. It’s able to be optimized for both countryside and inner-city usage on the vehicles with 4x4 off-road properties Katmerciler was established in 1985. It is the leading company of on-vehicle equipment sector and has entered in Turkish defense industry with Riot Control Vehicles (RCV) having been produced as from 2010. |
