Russian radio-electronic warfare units train to use new jamming hardware
Radio-electronic warfare units of the combined arms army of the Southern Military District held a complex training in North Ossetia - Alania to test the latest samples of military hardware capable of jamming with powerful emissions, the press service of the district said.

"The servicemen fulfilled several special missions to deploy the radio-electronic warfare systems, take the bearings of radio-electronic emission sources and jam the communication systems of conditional adversary. Besides, the radio-electronic experts also jammed the systems and complexes operational in the combined arms army of the district," it said.

The training focused on improving knowledge and skills of combat engagement of the new Borisoglebsk radio-electronic warfare complex. Units and formations of the Southern Military District army currently have close to 30 modern radio-electronic warfare complexes.
