According to the organizing committee, more than 4 million small UAVs were sold worldwide in 2015, with the volume of sales expected to increase to 100 million units by 2025.
The organizing committee noted: "Today, UAVs are a most dynamic branch of the aerospace industry, including the helicopter industry. In this connection, drones will continue to be covered as part of HeliRussia 2017. In particular, the show will include the 2nd Unmanned Air System Industry International Conference." The UAV industry is expected to maintain a higher-profile presence on the exhibition and business venues of HeliRussia 2017 compared with last year. The 10th HeliRussia Helicopter Industry Show (HeliRussia 2017) will take place from May 25 to 27 in Moscow in accordance with the Russian government’s order. Its sponsor is the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry and its organizer is the Russian Exhibition Systems Company, with support provided by the Helicopter Industry Association. |
