SOFINS 2017: Centigon promotes new Toyota LC200 Fast Light Assault Modular System
Centigon came in the Souge military camp (South-West of France) for SOFINS 2017 with a wide range of light armored vehicles. Among them is the Toyota LC200 Fast Light Assault Modular System (FLAMS) vehicle, unveiled two years ago in Paris during Milipol 2015 security exhibition.

The Centigon FLAMS has been developed to cover a wide range of crisis situations for police law enforcement agencies and military counter terrorist and hostage rescue teams. The system is designed to provide a multi-role capability vehicle that enables rapid access to various heights up to 8 m above ground level. It has been purchased in 2015 by the Belgian Federal Police Special Forces.

Specifically developed for urban and aircraft intervention, the FLAMS is lightweight and easy to operate.

The vehicle is intended to be fitted with a detachable assault ladder to cross obstacles or facilitate access to heights on ordinary or special objectives.

Centigon FLAMS features a B6 (VPAM Klasse 7) protection level. The armored monocoque hull is made of high-hardness armor steel providing protection for occupants and critical components from ballistic and blast threats against DM51 grenades. The PU coating acts as a fire retardant and provides further blast protection as well as superior resistance to corrosion and abrasion.

Baseline vehicle is powered with a 6-cylinder 4.6L V8 engine. It features 6 gun ports in doors, up to 8 individual rear seats, A/C, rear view camera, roof escape hatch and multi-layered ballistic glass.
