The Russian Company Remdizel, a subdivision of KAMAZ presents its full range of 4x4 armoured vehicle at Army-2017, the International Military Technical forum, including the Taifun-K in ambulance configuration, the Taifun K-4386 with 30mm cannon, and the Taifun-K 53949.

|
The Taifun-K is a family of armoured vehicles that are designed to be used mainly as personnel v-carrier and logistic support. They can be used to carry soldiers or military equipment. It can also be fitted with a full range of weapon stations.
The vehicles are available in the 6x6 (KAMAZ-63969) and 4x4 (KAMAZ-53949) configurations with same characteristics in terms of mobility, protection, design and ergonomics. The Taifun-K can be motorized with 350 hp. and 450 hp. diesel engines and automatic transmission systems to reach a maximum road speed of 100 km/h and a road range of up to 1,000 km without refueling. |

The Taifun K-4386 is a 4x4 armoured vehicle which is especially designed for Russian airborne troops under the name of Taifun-VDV.
The Taifun-K vehicles provide a high level of mine and ballistic protection. Special seats, along with others design features, reduce the blast effects of explosion for the crew and troops when a 8 kg TNT explosive device explodes under any wheel and under the bottom of the vehicle. |

Remdizel also presents an new armoured ambulance version of the Taifun-K using the same chassis as the Taifun-K 53949.
The layout of the vehicle has been adapted to offer more internal space, the roof of the troops compartment has been raised to carried wounded personnel on seats or on stretchers. The front of the vehicle has a crew cab with two seats. The ambulance version of the Taifun K-53949 has the same level of ballistic and mine protection as the standard version. |
