The Ukrainian defense industry, through UkrOboronProm, is once again spotlighting a wide range of indigenously made products. Among them is a new "Portable Rocket Grenade Launcher" (PRGL) designed to target light armored and unarmored military devices, such as radars, grounded aircraft, cars, etc).

Ukraine's new Portable Rocket Grenade Launcher can also target field-type constructions as well as personnel located outdoor, in shelters, in stone or concrete buildings.

The PRGL features a maximum firing range of 800 m, with a minimum security range of 70 m. Target detection and recognition is allowed between 70 and 1,200 m.

An electro-optical sight mounted on the launcher system contains a set of detectors ensuring consideration of various factors of the battlefield, significantly influencing accuracy of fire such as wind velocity, environmental temperature, range and velocity of a target. The grenade launcher processor unit automatically inputs ballistic corrections and adjusts aiming mark positioning, ensuring maximum accuracy at maximum range of fire.

The PRGL only weights 8.2 kg with its sight, while the grenade in its container weights 11.4 kg. The 3.5 kg high-explosive fragmentation warhead can penetrate up to 50 mm of armor. The whole system is 1.678 m long and 107 mm wide.
