Iran: IRGC unveils new home-developed defense equipment.
This is the second part of the presentation of the new military hardware made during a ceremony held on June 27, during which IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami unveiled new locally-developed products manufactured by the Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad Organization of the IRGC Ground Force, as reported by Tasnim news agency ad BMPD.

Another major achievement of the IRGC unveiled on June 27 is a ground-penetrating radar system used to detect landmines and roadside bombs (IEDs). Mounted on a vehicle traveling at a speed of 10 km/h, the radar system can detect explosives hidden in the ground at a depth of up to 30 cm at a distance of 30 meters.
Well, the option of modernizing the old 7.62 mm RPD machine guns, which, like the BTR-50PK, was also long ago removed from service and gathering dust in warehouses. Named Sa'aban-1.

The Me’raj-1 is a reconnaissance UAV has a service ceiling of 3,650 meters (12,000 feet) and can reach a maximum speed of 140 km/h. Weighing 35 kg, the drone has a flight endurance of 10.5 hours and can carry a payload of 5 kg. With a wingspan of 3.60 meters, Me’raj-1 has a range of 1,000 km and a data link system with a range of up to 150 km. Aa already known for some other Iranian UAVs, the landing scheme uses a kind of skid under the fuselage.
