In a recent report by the Army Recognition editorial team on the Serbian defense industry, the spotlight was cast on the technological advancements and innovations led by Yugoimport, the nation's premier defense company. Aleksandar Lijakovic, Director of the Direction for Commercial Businesses at Yugoimport, presented the report, offering an in-depth overview of the significant strides Serbia is making in the realm of military technology.

Among the highlights were the wheeled combat vehicles of Serbia, notably the Lazar 8x8 and Mislosh 4x4, which are setting new standards in armored mobility and protection. The report also showcased the Nora family of wheeled self-propelled howitzers, with a special focus on the latest NORA B-52NG, a testament to Serbia's artillery capabilities.

Yugoimport's prowess in rocket systems was evident with the introduction of their range of MLRS Multiple Launch Rocket Systems. The Tamnava, M-17 Oganj, and Sumadija are prime examples of the company's commitment to providing versatile and powerful rocket solutions.

The defense giant has also ventured into the realm of drones, unveiling their loitering munition or kamikaze drones, the Raven 145 and Osica. These are complemented by Serbian armed drones, available in both quadcopter and fixed-wing configurations, equipped with an array of weapons from rockets and anti-tank missiles to mortar bombs and grenades.

The report also highlighted the Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV) Milosh 1 and Milosh 2. These UGVs, armed with machine guns and anti-tank rocket launchers, are a testament to Serbia's focus on integrating robotics into modern warfare. Additionally, the new heavy loitering missile weapon systems, Vila 1 and Vila 2, which can be launched from both ground and air platforms, were showcased.

Concluding the report was the introduction of the Serbian 6x6 MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) combat vehicles, notably the Zastava M-20, further solidifying Serbia's position as a formidable player in the global defense industry.
