EDGE's participation in Colombia's foremost defense sector event signals a strategic deepening of relationships and expansion of collaborations across Latin America. The group's vision is to fortify ties and build partnerships, aiming to bolster local supply chains and support national defense capabilities continent-wide.
Recognizing Latin America as a key market, EDGE is committed to sharing knowledge and fostering commercial benefits that support economic growth. Importantly, EDGE's sales align with government partnerships, ensuring a collaborative approach to expanding its export footprint and nurturing local supply chains.
Specifically, in Brazil and Colombia, EDGE plans further acquisitions and investments. Recent collaborations include manufacturing agreements with Brazil's SIATT for the MANSUP extended-range missile and with Turbomachine, a leading turbine developer.
EDGE's rapid growth is evident in its impressive 5 billion+ US dollars in global orders this year. In just four years, the company has expanded its product portfolio fivefold, boosted exports by over 300%, and assembled a diverse, skilled workforce representing 88 nationalities.
Currently, EDGE boasts 160 products in its portfolio, including advanced missile and weapons systems, electronic warfare, and cyber technology solutions, and has secured over 200 significant contracts globally.
At ExpoDefensa 2023, EDGE is highlighting its autonomous systems, notably the QX family of standoff munitions, the GARMOOSHA rotary-wing UAV, and the SHADOW standoff UAVs.
In smart weaponry, EDGE is showcasing the AL TARIQ long-range MGPs, RASH precision-guided munition systems, DESERT STING air-to-surface weapons, MANSUP-ER anti-tank missile, and the SKYKNIGHT air defense missile.
The event also features EDGE's electronic warfare solutions, including the ACTIVECELL search and rescue system, SKYSHIELD anti-UAS solution, and V-PROTECT convoy protection, among others.
Furthermore, EDGE's subdivision Caracal is displaying a range of small arms, from sniper rifles to 9mm pistols.
LAHAB DEFENCE SYSTEMS, a key EDGE company, demonstrates its expertise in developing medium and large-caliber munitions, adhering to stringent safety and environmental standards.
