During the exhibition, Vegvisir participated in a joint stand with the Estonian intelligence software startup SensusQ and Orqa FPV from Croatia. The mixed reality situational awareness system was presented to various industry experts and end-users, including the Minister of Defense Croatia, Mario Banožić.

In a significant development, Vegvisir also conducted a field test in cooperation with the Croatian Ministry of Defense, marking its first live demo outside of Estonia. This event follows a successful product field test with the Estonian Defense Forces, underlining Vegvisir's growing momentum. The demo was conducted at the Petrinja military barracks and the surrounding grounds, supported by the Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Croatian Army, 1st Mechanized Battalion "Tigers". The system was integrated with a Patria AMV 8x8 armored vehicle for this demonstration, marking the fourth different vehicle type tested with Vegvisir's system.

Ingvar Pärnamäe, the CEO and co-founder of Vegvisir, commented on the company's proven platform-agnostic approach, “Our recent live demo validated our platform-agnostic approach. We've successfully tested our system on four different vehicles, including wheeled armored personnel carriers and tracked infantry fighting vehicles. This versatility enables our mixed reality system to enhance situational awareness across a broad range of military vehicles.”

The demonstration outside Estonia underscores the growing interest in Vegvisir's mixed reality situational awareness system. "We're thrilled to see the increasing global interest in our system," said Pärnamäe. "This demo marks a significant milestone as our first live demo on an armored vehicle outside Estonia. It showcases our capability to provide cutting-edge technology to international armed forces, enhancing their operational effectiveness."

Pärnamäe also highlighted the importance of positive end-user feedback, "The overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants, including the simple yet powerful comment from one tank unit commander who said, 'It is perfect!', confirms the need for Vegvisir's mixed reality approach to situational awareness. We are committed to working closely with end-users, taking insights from soldiers to our engineers to create a product that truly meets their needs."

Vegvisir’s demonstration at ASDA 2023 and its cooperation with the Croatian Ministry of Defense represent significant strides in the company's mission to enhance the situational awareness capabilities of military units around the world.
