Elbit Systems to supply PULS Rocket Artillery Systems to undisclosed customer.

Elbit Systems on July 18 announced today that it was awarded a $150 million contract to supply PULS (Precise and Universal Launching Systems) rocket launchers and a package of precision-guided long-range rockets to an international customer. The contract will be performed over a period of three years.

Elbit Systems’ PULS provides a comprehensive and cost-effective solution, that can launch unguided rockets, precision-guided munitions and missiles with an effective range of up to 300km. With its unique design, the PULS can also support future growth capabilities such as the ability to launch loitering munitions, including the canister-launched configuration of Elbit Systems’ SkyStriker loitering munition.

The PULS is a new-generation MLRS system. It can be easily integrated with different models of tracked or wheeled military vehicles. The PULS can fire a wide range of unguided and guided rockets, as well as missiles developed by Elbit Systems, including ACCULAR, EXTRA, and PREDATOR ammunition. One key feature of the PULS is its ability to be configured to fire any type of rocket and missile available in the current military market.

The PULS is a mobile rocket and missile launcher system designed by the Israeli company Elbit Systems to meet the needs of modern artillery in modern battlefield scenarios, providing a cost-effective solution for the precise firing of advanced rockets. The autonomous advanced firing systems enable efficient management of firing missions, providing constant availability of massive and effective fire support in all weather conditions. The flexible platforms easily interface with local or third-party products and C4I systems.
