At ExpoDefensa 2023, Theon Sensors, a Greek expert in night vision and thermal imaging, presented their advanced technology in Bogota from December 5th to 7th.

Founded in 1997 in Athens, Theon Sensors has developed in the design and production of electro-optical systems. Known for its expertise in night vision and thermal imaging, the company expanded its influence beyond the Greek market, positioning itself on the international stage. Its expansion was marked by significant contracts, such as one with the Australian Armed Forces in 2004, and later with the Swedish Armed Forces in 2010, thus strengthening its presence in the global market.

Theon Sensors' product range includes night vision monoculars and binoculars, sights, thermal imaging devices, etc., designed to enhance operational capabilities in low-light and nighttime conditions. One of their most successful products, the NYX night vision binoculars, launched in 2013, have been widely adopted, including in major contracts with the German Army and Special Forces.

The company's expansion was marked by the establishment of subsidiaries in strategic locations such as Singapore, the UAE, and Germany, thus expanding their reach. A significant partnership in 2016 with Harris (now part of Elbit Systems of America) enabled Theon Sensors to penetrate the American market, particularly with the NYX night vision binoculars, designated F5032 in the US.

They were fully visible at ExpoDefensa 2023, where they demonstrated their cutting-edge products and systems. If you wish to learn more about this Greek company, we invite you to visit the Theon Sensors website.
