Germany has delivered 2 IRIS-T SLS launchers to Ukraine. The IRIS-T (Infra Red Imaging System Tail/Thrust Vector-Controlled) SLS (Surface Launched Short Range) is a ground-based air defense system. It is designed to protect troops and critical assets from aerial threats, including aircraft, helicopters, and drones. The system uses the IRIS-T air-to-air missile, which has been adapted for ground launch. With its advanced infrared seeker and high maneuverability, the IRIS-T missile can engage targets at short to medium ranges with high precision.

Weighing i87.4 kg, the missile boasts a length of 2.94 meters. Capable of reaching speeds up to Mach 3, it has a range of up to 12 km with this version of IRIS-T. The missile is equipped with a high explosive fragmentation warhead and utilizes an infrared homing guidance system. Countries such as Egypt, Sweden, and Ukraine incorporated the IRIS-T SL into their defense arsenals. To complement the missile system, it is paired with a suite of radar and command vehicles, including the Hensoldt TRML_4D radar, Ground Master 200 MM/C radar, Hensoldt TRML-3D radar, Hensoldt Twinvis radar, and a containerized command post vehicle.

A total of 4,539 155mm smoke shells have been provided. Germany has sent 10 GO12 ground surveillance radars. These radars are essential for detecting and tracking ground movements, helping troops to anticipate enemy actions and respond effectively. 4 HX81 tractor units along with 4 trailers have been delivered. 8 Rheinmetall HX2 8x8 trucks have been delivered.
