Türkiye, hosts of the prestigious exhibition, is showcasing its prowess in military technology, with local defense giants like Aselsan, Havelsan, BMC, FNSS, Otokar, and Roketsan unveiling their latest developments. The equipment displayed is designed for the modern battlefield, aiming to boost the defense capabilities of national armies and security forces across the globe.

One of the showstoppers at IDEF is an advanced unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), displayed by OTOKAR. Equipped with AI-powered autonomous capabilities and designed for reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition, this unmanned system promises to redefine ground warfare.

Turkish companies OTOKAR, FNSS, and BMC displayed the latest generation of wheeled and tracked armored vehicles designed to conduct military operations on the modern battlefield.

Another highlight is the newest version of the Altay main battle tank, manufactured by BMC. Its upgraded features include advanced armor protection, enhanced firepower, and a state-of-the-art electronic warfare system. The updated Altay tank is already attracting attention from international defense delegations present at the exhibition.

Furthermore, Roketsan is presenting an array of missile systems, featuring longer ranges and higher precision compared to previous generations. This includes surface-to-surface, air-to-air, and air-to-ground missile systems.

The exhibition is also marked by Aselsan's unveiling of its next-gen command and control systems. These systems are designed to provide real-time battlefield information, enhancing decision-making processes and response times during operations.

Amid the impressive displays of military equipment, a central theme at IDEF is the growing trend toward autonomy and AI integration. These technologies, defense experts suggest, are set to transform not just individual vehicles and weapons systems but the broader strategic landscape of warfare.

IDEF is attended by numerous international delegations, defense industry representatives, and military officials, offering a space for nations to showcase their defense capabilities, engage in valuable discussions, and negotiate potential contracts.

This year's edition of the exhibition offers a fascinating glimpse into the future of defense technology, where AI and autonomous systems are poised to take center stage. The advancements in technology presented at IDEF continue to reaffirm the event's status as one of the most prominent defense industry exhibitions globally.
