FNSS is pioneering the design and development of new generation drive systems, suspension systems, gearboxes, and powertrains, showcasing the company's commitment to advancing technology in armored combat vehicles.

The hybrid power pack solution, initiated as part of the HYBRID Power Group project at the FNSS R&D Centre in 2021, is a promising venture into enhancing and extending the life of tracked vehicle platforms. The control software development for the first prototype vehicle is ongoing with critical verification tests scheduled for the end of this year. This hybrid powerpack technology aims to revamp tracked platforms in FNSS's product range and other tracked vehicles requiring capability enhancement and life extension.

The IDEF 2023 also provided a platform for FNSS to display its new member of the PARS SCOUT family, the 8x8 vehicle equipped with a 25mm Remote-Controlled Turret. Developed under the Special Purpose Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicles project in collaboration with the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), this vehicle addresses the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces.

The PARS SCOUT 8x8 has been designed specifically for reconnaissance and internal security operations. It stands out for its high situational awareness and offers tactical advantages through its high mobility in all terrains, superior ballistic and mine protection, and integration of modern technologies.

FNSS is set to deliver 6x6 and 8x8 vehicles in five different variants to the Turkish Land Forces and the Gendarmerie through the domestic development model. Production of the PARS SCOUT 8x8, the first 8x8 wheeled armored vehicle family to be included in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces, is currently underway according to the program schedule.
