The MCL Viper system is designed to enable the immediate launch of VIPER 300 Systems from any military platform, whether manned or unmanned, even when the platform is in motion. This feature aims to improve the operational pace and maneuverability of military forces while also seeking to minimize operator exposure and enhance the safety of crew members within the vehicle.

The term "Swarm" refers to the MCL Viper system's ability to launch multiple Viper 300 drones either simultaneously or sequentially. These drones can then operate in a coordinated group to perform complex tasks such as surveillance, reconnaissance, and even precision strikes. This feature allows for better situational awareness and greater efficiency in mission execution.

The system has a configuration that can include four or more canisters and is adaptable to various military platforms and vehicles.

The MCL Viper provides tactical units with real-time Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) capabilities. The system also offers precision strike capabilities, supplemented by Electronic Warfare (EW) measures. It aims to ensure operator safety, situational awareness, and mission success, supporting both SWARM and unitary modes of operation.

The MCL Viper system can be operated from within the vehicle and requires minimal storage space. It is designed to provide a response even when the platform is in motion. The system features autonomous operation and is built to be resilient in various environmental conditions.

Yiftach Kleinman, EVP Commercial at SpearUAV, stated that the MCL Viper is developed with the intent to support the entire Viper 300 family of capabilities, catering to units ranging from squads and platoons to companies and battalions. He mentioned that the system is a result of SpearUAV's experience in encapsulating Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and executing missions from diverse platforms.

The Viper 300 family offers three distinct capabilities: ISR, Loitering Munition, and EW. The system is designed for engaging both stationary and moving targets within Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) scenarios. It features AI-based functionalities, including autonomous target classification and tracking.

Viper provides organic, responsive, precision fires at the squad level, allowing operators to neutralize immediate threats like enemy snipers and RPG teams without relying on higher-level assets. The delivery accuracy possible with Viper also minimizes collateral damage in complex urban terrain.
