Hyundai Rotem's Broad Range of Defense Solutions

South Korean giant, Hyundai Rotem, showcased its comprehensive array of defense products. Prominent among them was the K2 Main Battle Tank (MBT). The company further drew attention to various combat vehicles derived from the K2 tracked chassis, expanding its versatility. These versions include an Engineer variant, bridge layer, recovery vehicle, and other specialized combat types. In addition, Hyundai Rotem highlighted their Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) and an 8x8 armored vehicle, signaling a move into the world of automated warfare.

Polish Defense Innovations on Display

A local Polish defense company was in the spotlight with the unveiling of its OSU-35K 35mm naval turret. This turret stands out due to its potential for integration on truck chassis, showcasing its adaptability. Further attention was garnered by the introduction of the Borsuk amphibious Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV). These innovations are a testament to Poland's ever-evolving defense industry.

Ulbrichts' Armor Helmets: A Preview before DSEI

The Austrian company Ulbrichts didn't go unnoticed. They presented their latest generation of armor helmets, designed primarily for special forces and police units. While the helmets displayed are cutting-edge, Ulbrichts hinted at more advancements in the pipeline. The company announced that it would be unveiling a new generation of helmets during the upcoming DSEI Defense Exhibition in London. For those interested in catching a firsthand look, Ulbrichts will be at DSEI 2023 from September 12-15 in Excel London, Hall 4, Booth 109.
