KIELCE, Poland, September 5, 2023 - The 31st International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) commenced today in Kielce, marking a significant event dedicated to serving the country's security, increasing access to global technologies, and fostering the exchange of ideas and experiences. This year's MSPO has set an all-time record, bringing together an impressive 711 exhibitors from 35 countries.

The MSPO Exhibition, also known as the International Defence Industry Exhibition, is held annually in Kielce, Poland. It is one of the largest defense industry exhibitions in Europe and serves as a platform for defense companies, both local and international, to showcase their products and innovations. The event attracts a wide range of participants, including government officials, military representatives, and industry experts. Over the years, MSPO has grown in significance and scale, reflecting the evolving needs and trends of the global defense industry.

Covering a vast area of over 34,000 sq m, the edition 2023 of the MSPO exhibition has outdone itself by expanding to an additional temporary hall spanning 2,800 sq m for the first time in its history. This expansion underscores the event's growing significance and the increasing interest from global defense industry players.

The President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, graced the event with his presence on its inaugural day. Joining him was the Minister of National Defence, Mariusz Błaszczak, who also visited the Targi Kielce expo on Tuesday. The exhibition has truly become a global hub, with defense industry representatives from 33 countries converging in the capital of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. Among the participants, 350 are Polish companies, while 361 hail from foreign nations.

Countries represented at the Kielce event include Australia, with 39 companies, Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, and Denmark, boasting 21 companies, Estonia, Finland, France, Spain, Netherlands, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Japan, Canada, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, which brought 36 companies, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, the United States, with a strong presence of 51 companies, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and South Korea.

The MSPO exhibition, with its diverse representation and expansive display area, promises to be a pivotal platform for defense industry discussions, collaborations, and innovations.
