At MSPO 2023, the Finnish company Patria is displaying its modular military vehicle, the Patria 6x6 armored vehicle, along with a range of military solutions that include logistics, intelligence, and surveillance capabilities, with a focus on highlighting its technical features. Among these offerings, the Patria 6x6 military vehicle stands out due to its adaptability, protective elements, and technical performance.

The Patria 6x6 is equipped with a 5-inline diesel engine, delivering a power output of 294 kW and a torque output of 1,870 Nm. With a maximum combat weight of 24,000 kg, it can reach more than 100 km/h. Its capabilities extend to challenging terrains, with a climbing capacity of 60% and the ability to navigate side slopes of up to 30%. Additionally, it can overcome obstacles up to 0.6 meters high and cross trenches with a width of 1.2 meters. Optional features for swimming and fording enhance its versatility across diverse environments. The vehicle has an operational range exceeding 700 km.

The Patria 6x6 places a priority on crew protection and offers a modular ballistic, mine, and IED-protection system that can be customized to meet specific customer requirements. It provides STANAG level 2 protection, with potential upgrades to level 4 in the future.

Regarding armament and weapon systems, the Patria 6x6 offers flexibility, accommodating various weapon options tailored to specific mission requirements. Common armament choices include a remotely operated weapon station, machine guns, automatic cannons, anti-tank guided missiles, and other anti-aircraft or anti-personnel weaponry. The specific armament and weapon systems installed depend on the customer's specifications.

Thanks to its modular design, the Patria 6x6 can be easily configured to fulfill a range of roles and missions, serving as an armored personnel carrier (APC), command vehicle, reconnaissance vehicle, or weapons platform, among others.

The vehicle incorporates advanced communication systems, facilitating information exchange and command-and-control capabilities on the battlefield. It can be integrated with various Communication, Command, Control, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems to enhance situational awareness and interoperability.

Patria offers the option to customize the Patria 6x6 to meet the specific requirements and preferences of different customer nations, ensuring that the vehicle can be tailored to suit the unique operational needs of each user.
