The MLV is equipped to carry up to four Naval Strike Missiles and can be deployed and remotely controlled up to 10 km away from the Combat Command Vehicle (CCV). It is capable of firing these four missiles within seconds against one or multiple targets, allowing for multiple simultaneous engagements. Up to six launchers with 24 missiles can be networked, and all missiles are ready to fire.
The Battery Command Vehicle (BCV) serves as the central integrating element of the NSM Coastal Defense System and provides BMC4I capabilities for current and future coastal defense missions. The BCV can control up to three CCVs, making it flexible, scalable, and interoperable.
The Mobile Communication Center (MCC) constitutes the main core network within the NSM coastal defense system and provides the establishment, control, and management of all internal and external data and voice communications. The MCC supports various communication means such as SATCOM, HCLOS, IP/HF/VHF radios, and fiber cable connections.
The Jelcz S662D.43 chassis, manufactured by Zakłady Budowy Nadwozi Samochodowych, on which the MLV is built, is known for its robustness and reliability. This wheeled vehicle offers high mobility while being capable of carrying a significant payload, making it ideal for demanding coastal defense operations.
The MLV built on the Jelcz S662D.43 chassis, in conjunction with the other components of the NSM coastal battery system, provides the Polish Navy with a comprehensive and effective solution for defending its coastline.
