The day kicked off with a virtual tour of the exhibition, offering viewers a panoramic view of the event's vast expanse. Alain Servaes, CEO of Army Recognition Group and Chief Editor of Army Recognition introduced Partner 2023, highlighting its significance for the Serbian Defense Industry.
State Defense Company Yugoimport took center stage with the introduction of their new Milosh 2 4x4 armored vehicle. This state-of-the-art vehicle is equipped with a remotely operated weapon station, armed with a 20mm cannon and two launchers for the Malyutka anti-tank guided missile. The company also showcased the Milosh, a 4x4 multirole armored vehicle, and the Milsoh 1, which comes in two configurations: one with the Kerber turret armed with a 3 20mm automatic cannon and another with a remotely operated weapon station armed with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun.
Yugoimport also presented the OT 4x4, an upgraded variant of the BOV, a renowned all-wheel-drive armored vehicle. The Lazar series was another highlight, with the Lazar 8x8 in APC Armored Personnel Carrier configuration and the Lazar 3 in IFV Infantry Fighting Vehicle configuration. The newly unveiled Lazar 3M boasts new armor and a turret armed with a Russian 2A42 30mm automatic cannon and a 7.62mm 6P7K machine gun. The Lazanski touted as one of the most protected wheeled armored vehicles globally, was also showcased, fitted with a remotely operated weapon station armed with a 57mm cannon.
The exhibition also saw Yugoimport unveiling a new anti-tank armored vehicle equipped with a modernized Maljutka anti-tank missile. Attendees got a closer look at the upgraded versions of the Maljutka anti-tank guided missile, including the Maljutka 2F and Maljutka 2T. Serbia's development of the APOS, a new generation of portable anti-tank weapon stations, was another notable revelation.
Christopher Foss, a defense expert, provided insights into the evolution of the Serbian defense industry. He also delved into the Nora, a family of 155mm wheeled self-propelled howitzers, explaining its significance and capabilities.
