Kyiv and Bratislava agreed to jointly develop a wheeled 155-mm self-propelled gun. However, "development" is a loud word: in fact, the Slovak howitzer Eva will be adapted to the requirements of the Ukrainian army with the introduction of some "novelties" from Ukrainian developers into its design. The development of this ‘’new’’ self-propelled gun will be carried out by the Slovak company Konstrukta Defense and the Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant, which created the notorious Bogdan. 12 months are allotted for everything, in the summer of 2024 a prototype of the new self-propelled guns should be unveiled. At the moment, the parties have signed a memorandum of cooperation, discussing various details of joint activities. Kyiv chose the Slovaks after the Armed Forces of Ukraine received the Slovak Zuzana 2 howitzer, which the Ukrainian military really like.

The 155 mm gun system of the Eva is mounted on a truck chassis and can be fully controlled from inside the 3-man crew cabin located at the front of the vehicle. It has a traverse from +60° on each side and an elevation from -3.5° to +75°. The fully automatic loading system is mounted at the rear of the weapon platform with 12 projectiles and 12 powder charges ready to fire. Another 12 projectiles and 12 powder charges are carried in hermetical packing on the truck chassis.

The maximum range depends on the type of ammunition and charge system, but firing an ERFB-BB (Extended Range Full Bore-Base Bleed)at a maximum range of 41 km can be achieved. The Eva has a rate of fire of 5 rounds per minute in automatic mode, and 13 rounds per minute in 3 minutes in manual mode.
