The Ukrainian defense forces have been bolstered by a new batch of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as part of the "Army of Drones" initiative, announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov. In this latest delivery, the Ukrainian military received over 900 drones designed for various purposes. The footage showcases DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters, Nemesis and Vampire bombers, as well as the Avenger strike drone.

"The batch includes the well-known Mavics, Vampires, and Avengers, which have already proven their effectiveness on the front lines. We are also delivering hundreds of other drones, the details of which should remain confidential for now," said Mykhailo Fedorov, head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

Previously, in October, as part of the "Army of Drones" project, the Ukrainian defense forces received a large consignment of UAVs for various purposes. This included 500 Mavic quadcopters for aerial reconnaissance, 300 Phoenix 03 Heavy FPV drones for engaging ground targets, and 40 Vampire bombers. Even earlier, at the end of September, the Ukrainian military received 1740 drones: Vampire hexacopters, Phoenix FPV drones, high-speed Penguins, Avengers, as well as Mavic and Matrice copters.

The DJI Mavic 3 is an aerial reconnaissance quadcopter, renowned for its high-resolution camera and ability to stream live images over considerable distances. It is particularly useful for surveillance and reconnaissance missions.

The Nemesis is a tactical bomber drone, designed for precision strikes. It can be equipped with various types of munitions and is capable of hitting targets with high accuracy, making it ideal for missions where collateral damage needs to be minimized.

The Vampire drone is a hexacopter that can function both as a kamikaze drone and a reconnaissance UAV. As a kamikaze drone, it is capable of carrying an explosive payload and deliberately crashing into its target, causing significant damage. As a reconnaissance drone, it can provide intelligence on enemy positions.

The Avenger is a strike drone designed for offensive missions, capable of carrying and deploying weapons with precision against ground targets.

The Phoenix 03 Heavy FPV specializes in engaging ground targets, offering operators a first-person view (FPV) for increased accuracy in munitions guidance. It is particularly suited for missions where direct control and responsiveness are necessary to strike dynamic or mobile targets.

The army was also provided with robotic platforms, including the "Lynx" unmanned ground vehicles and remotely operated machine gun turrets "Shablya." Some of these were integrated into a unified ground combat robotic system.
