The Karakal system stands out for its electromagnetic gun that operates without noise or smoke emission, allowing for the precise and discreet neutralization of drones. This silent operation is particularly advantageous for missions requiring stealth.

Alongside the Karakal system, Mosanada presented its Border Radar Surveillance Solutions, leveraging a Ku-band pulse Doppler radar system enhanced with artificial intelligence. This comprehensive system is designed for ground security surveillance, offering 360-degree observation capabilities and precise location detection of diverse targets, from individuals to vehicles, at varying altitudes.

Technical details of the Karakal system feature a variable firing angle from -20 to 60 degrees and a capability for 360-degree rotation. It boasts a reach of up to 2.5 km, a projectile speed of up to 1200 m/s, and a firing rate that can achieve 60 rounds per minute, dependent on the power source. Notably, the system operates quietly, requires no special projectile materials, and is built to prevent sparks, flames, and mechanical wear, such as erosion or grooving.

Designed with mobility in mind, the Karakal system prioritizes compactness, lightweightness, and ease of deployment. It includes an intelligent tracking system, operates on low power consumption, and demands minimal maintenance, contributing to its long-lasting performance and operational efficiency.

By introducing the Karakal Hybrid Electromagnetic RWS Anti-Drone System and its Border Radar Surveillance Solutions at WDS 2024, Mosanada, a Qatari company, seeks to offer a comprehensive defense against the escalating drone threat, ensuring the protection of critical infrastructure and the enhancement of global security operations.
