With a 155 mm caliber and a 52-caliber barrel, the MORANA is equipped with an automatic loading system, reducing crew requirements while increasing operational efficiency. Its integrated fire control system enables full autonomy in combat missions. The turret, independent of the chassis, ensures improved stability and enhanced armor protection for the crew. In addition to its lightweight structure facilitating transport, the MORANA has an on-road speed of 90 km/h and can operate effectively in difficult terrain without requiring the heavy logistics associated with tracked artillery systems.

A key feature of the system is its onboard control and diagnostic system, which allows for autonomous fire management. It includes diagnostic, navigation, and automatic gun guidance subsystems. This setup optimizes fire preparation, enabling the howitzer to be ready to fire within 40 seconds of stopping. The entire process, from gun alignment to ammunition loading and firing, is managed from inside the cabin, ensuring maximum crew safety.

The diagnostic system also tracks operational parameters and detects potential malfunctions, simplifying maintenance and spare parts supply. Data can be transmitted to higher command levels for operational capability assessment and logistical planning.

The MORANA stands out for its high firing accuracy and an operational range of up to 41.5 km. Its design allows for rapid deployment in various combat scenarios, enhancing the capabilities of modern artillery units. The system's open architecture enables easy integration with other fire control solutions tailored to customer requirements.

This development addresses the growing need for more flexible and autonomous artillery systems within armed forces. With its combination of mobility, protection, and firepower, the MORANA presents itself as a strategic choice for modern operations. By showcasing this platform at IDEX 2025, Excalibur Army reinforces its commitment to advancing land forces solutions.
