Kazakh Navy Commander Rear Admiral Zhandarbek Zhanzakov hailed Iran’s
military and defense programs, and announced that his country is planning
to send navy personnel and experts to Iran for further training. “We
hope that Kazakhstan's experts come to Iran to undergo training and
this is feasible,” Admiral Zhanzakov said, addressing Iranian
commanders of naval expertise in the Northern Iranian city of Rasht. |
Admiral Zhanzakov pointed to his visits to the military training centers
of many countries, and said, “Iran has the best military training
centers among the world states.” The Kazakh navy commander reiterated
that Iran’s military training centers are more capable than other
countries. On Tuesday, Admiral Zhanzakov asked Tehran to provide his
country with its experiences in building warships.
Speaking to reporters after meeting his Iranian counterpart Rear Admiral
Habibollah Sayyari, Admiral Zhanzakov said Kazakhstan’s Navy is
a rather new force, “and Iran’s experiences in the field
of military industries and building warships are very important to us”.
The Kazakh navy commander underlined that his country is looking for
cooperation with Iran and his visit to Tehran is the first step in this
regard.
He pointed to his meeting with Admiral Sayyari, and said, “In
this meeting we discussed military industries and building warships."
“Kazakhstan has good relations with Iran and we are after the
expansion of these ties,” Admiral Zhanzakov said. Admiral Zhanzakov,
heading a high-ranking delegation, arrived in the Iranian capital on
Tuesday morning at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart. During
his stay in Iran, the Kazakh commander visited Iran’s Naval facilities
and achievements as well. Admiral Zhanzakov visited Imam Khomeini University
of the Iranian Navy on Wednesday morning.
