The 57mm Mk 110 Mod 0 Naval Gun System from BAE Systems is a multi-mission capable medium-caliber shipboard weapon that has been selected for the U.S. Coast Guard’s National Security Cutter and the U.S. Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship (LCS).

The Mk 110 Mod 0 Naval Gun delivers high rates of fire with extreme accuracy against surface, airborne, and shore-based targets, with proven effective 6-mode programmable 57mm Mk 295 Mod 0 ammunition. It has a maximum firing range of around 16 km (9 nmi).

Linked with a digital fire control system, the Mk 110 responds to exact pointing orders and selected ammunition fuze option an instant before each round is fired.

The Mk 110 weather shield provides environmental and ballistic protection for the gun system, and the design can be tailored to meet specific platform signature requirements.

The highly compact and lightweight Mk 110 Mod 0 requires minimal deck penetration and space below deck for ease in integration to a variety of hull types of 150 tons or more.
