The Raptor 2.0 class patrol boat has increased its displacement from 28 tons to 30 tons and its length from 16.9 m to 20 m. At the same time, Pella's designers retained its high top speed from 50 knots (it was slightly reduced to 48 knots).

In the main power plant now will be used two Russian engines CHD with a total capacity of 1678 kW. Russian VD370 water cannons will also be used as propulsion system of the updated Raptor.

To increase the combat capabilities of the boat, the designers suggest equipping Raptor 2.0 with a more powerful weapon system. It will include a shipborne remote control module, two guided missile launchers, laser detection, and a passive jamming system.

It is also proposed to use an active defense system with protection rounds, a smoke screen system, an observation and targeting optronic module, a central computer system, and an automated operator workstation.

The computer system allows for target assignment of detected targets between the machine gun module and the guided missile module, control of the optical system, guidance of guided missile launchers, and information exchange between the system components.

The main striking armament of Raptor 2.0 will be guided missiles with a semi-active laser seeker with a range of up to 8 km. Such missiles are designed for use from unmanned aerial vehicles and are at the preliminary testing stage. The guided missile launcher is a gyrostabilized, rotating device that allows for a rocking launch.

The laser detection and passive jamming system is designed to protect against close-combat weapons with optical-electronic sights and guidance systems operating in the infrared range.
