The Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan has released a statement. Technological lines have been purchased and installed and work is underway to develop the production of various types of ammunition.

The production will include various types of tracer bullets, explosives of various types for the production of live ammunition of various calibres, 6 types of gun barrels of small and large caliber, 6 types of artillery and tank shells and automatic guns .
Oxu.Az reports citing "Azerbaijan" newspaper that the statement came from Minister of Defense Industry Yaver Jamalov. According to the Minister, production of more than 1000 items of defense products and spare parts was launched during the ministry's activity. "These include the improvement of universal and tank guns, anti-tank hand grenade launchers, mortars and shells of various calibres, unmanned aerial vehicles, armored vehicles, etc," Jamalov said. The Minister noted that the overall amount of defense products delivered to customers by the end of 2015 increased 210 times from 2006. |
