Thailand's Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwon at Defense & Security 2015 exhibition, Bangkok, Thailand.

The show features over 340 defence and internal security companies from over 40 countries - manufacturers of essential military hardware and software. The response from exhibitors plus official Thai and overseas Delegations and general visitors, has been over whelming.

The overall objective for 2015 was to establish linkage and create business opportunities for manufacturers of military hardware and software from around the world - especially from ASEAN nations. Another goal was to confirm the event as a powerful international and regional networking exhibition that would provide opportunities for companies to break new ground in the ASEAN defence and security industries.

Major national displays at the show include Pavilions from Belarus, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Serbia, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, UK, USA, and Thailand. Equally impressive has been the number of ASEAN and Thai Delegations that have visited the stands.

The 2015 exhibition features the latest defence and internal security equipment, including weapons systems, guns, missiles, tanks, UAVs, transport vehicles, vessels, satellites, telecom & a wide range of electronic defense technology. Manufacturers of fire control systems, launchers and other important military systems and hardware are also on special display.

The Internal Security section at the show features high-tech equipment ranging from security products such as CCTV to intruder alarms, access & electronic security, personal hand guns, body armour, riot control equipment, protective gloves, night-vision technology, communication jamming devices and many other cutting-edge products from major manufacturers.
