Among the major deliveries are 56 FFG MRAP armored vehicles, designed to provide enhanced protection against mines and improvised explosive devices. These vehicles play a significant role in Germany's logistical support, aimed at improving the mobility and safety of Ukrainian forces on the ground.
Germany has also supplied ammunition of various calibers to strengthen the firepower of Ukrainian forces. This includes 105mm ammunition for the Leopard 1, 20mm ammunition for the Marder 1, and 35mm ammunition for the Gepard air defense system, totaling 41,000 rounds. These munitions complement larger weapon shipments, such as the IRIS-T SLM and IRIS-T SLS missiles, with exact quantities not specified.
Heavy weaponry has also been bolstered with the delivery of four Zuzana-2 155mm self-propelled guns, in cooperation with Denmark and Norway, as well as 50,000 155mm artillery shells and 2,000 122mm artillery shells. These systems are essential to support Ukraine's long-range strike capabilities, particularly in intense combat zones.
Drones have also played a crucial role in this aid, with deliveries of various models for reconnaissance missions. Germany provided 50 Vector drones, 209 RQ-35 Heidron drones, 29 Songbird drones, and 14 Hornet XR drones. These unmanned systems help gather valuable tactical intelligence on the ground, enhancing surveillance and strategic decision-making.
Additionally, Germany has sent specialized equipment for mine clearance and detection of battlefield hazards. Two Wisent-1 mine-clearance tanks and 16 mine ploughs were included in the aid, aimed at improving the safety of Ukrainian troops in conflict zones where landmines pose a constant threat.
Other materials have been provided to support Ukrainian forces in their protection and survival missions. This includes 645 laser range finders, 8 border protection vehicles, and a significant quantity of 40mm grenades (74,000 units), MG5 GPMG machine guns (100 units), and various types of small arms. This includes 2,915 KH416 assault rifles, 900 MK556 assault rifles, 62 HLR338 precision rifles, 220 CR308 battle rifles, and 73 AK-47 rifles, likely AKM variants.
Finally, Germany also sent substantial humanitarian aid, including 27,800 wool blankets, 766 sleeping bags, and 37,200 tourniquets, to meet the needs of civilians and soldiers in war zones.
This substantial military support underscores Germany's determination to actively assist Ukraine in its fight for sovereignty and security, providing a broad range of essential equipment for both land and air operations, as well as vital humanitarian assistance in this high-intensity war.
