The Spotter 60, an evolution of the Spotter 45 model, is a high-precision device that allows for the observation and recognition of targets at long distances, often beyond enemy lines. Its ability to detect, identify, and allocate targets is enhanced by a very high image resolution, ensuring hours of observation under challenging conditions.

The Spotter 60 boasts a magnification range of 20 to 60x, making it particularly suited for long-range observation. With an objective lens diameter of 72 mm and a field of view ranging from 19 to 49 meters at 1000 meters, it enables observers to spot even the smallest details in various environments. Additionally, a co-magnifying and illuminated reticle ensures optimal visibility, even in low-light conditions.

The Spotter 60 also stands out for its compact and ergonomic design. Its folded optical path allows for discreet observation from sheltered positions, an essential feature for reconnaissance missions in hostile terrain. Moreover, the spotting scope is equipped with an adaptable rail system, offering the ability to add extra equipment according to operational needs.

The rubberized metal housing of the Spotter 60 ensures its durability, while rigorous environmental testing according to MIL STD 810H guarantees its reliability even in the most extreme conditions.

The Spotter 60 is designed for use in a range of ISTAR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and target acquisition) scenarios. It is compatible with tripod systems thanks to 1/8" and 3/4" tripod mounting threads, providing maximum flexibility for operators. The brightness adjustment of the image, done progressively, allows for quick adaptation to changing light conditions on the field, while an optional integrated laser filter enhances performance in high-light situations.

The Hensoldt Spotter 60 represents a significant advancement in the field of portable spotting scopes, combining high image resolution, robustness, and ergonomics to meet the challenges of modern reconnaissance missions. Presented at IDEX 2025, this device solidifies its place as an indispensable tool for defense forces seeking high-tech solutions for terrain surveillance and reconnaissance.
