The Fiona is a 6x6 APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier) designed and manufactured by the Ukrainian Defense Company AutoKrAZ and UAE-based Company Streit Group. The Fiona APC was unveiled for the first at the International Defense Exhibition IDEX in February 2015. Thus Fiona is a high performance, low life cycle cost, next generation, armoured vehicle that is not only designed for current global situations, but also for any future missions. The result of the one chassis multi-platform concept is low cost of training and instruction for drivers and mechanics, as mechanically they are all identical. The Fiona also benefits from low maintenance cost due to the durable Diesel engine.

The Streit Group KrAZ Fiona 6x6 APC can be fitted with a single open-top turret with armour plates protection on 360°. This turret can be armed with a 7,62mm or 12,7 mm machine gun.

| Design and protection |

The layout of the Streit Group KrAZ Fiona 6x6 APC is standard with the engine compartment at the front, driver and commander cabin in the middle and troops' compartment at the rear. The commander and driver are seated to the rear of the engine compartment with the commander on the left and the driver on the right. The troop compartment extends right to the rear of the vehicle and the 8 troops sit five each side facing each other on individual mine blast seats including seatbelt harness systems. In each side of the hull are four rectangular bulletproof windows with individual firing port in the middle. The troops enter and leave via a single door located at the rear of the hull, which has a single bulletproof window and firing port. The hull of the Fiona provides a protection against firing of small arms STANAG 4569 Level 3 (7.62 x 51 AP (WC core) at 30 meters with 930 m/s). The vehicle provides also a protection against mine blast.

The Streit Group KrAZ Fiona APC is based on the 6x6 KrAZ-6322 all-terrain truck chassis, with two wheels at the front and four wheels at the rear. The vehicle is motorized with a YAMZ-238D 14.86 liter V8 diesel engine producing 330 hp. coupled to a YAMZ 8 speed manual split transmission, which is switchable between high and low ratios to make easy work on all terrain. Included in a feature is a split low and range reverse gear, which insures the driver is in complete control which ever direction the vehicle is heading.

The Streit Group KrAZ Fiona 6x6 APC is fitted with two independent air conditioning systems, one in the crew compartment and another in the drivers' compartment. These can be used individually or simultaneously, to ensure that all crew can travel in comfort in the hottest of climates. As standard the Fiona comes pre-wired and fitted with both VHP and HF radios, keeping the troops in touch with all the other vehicles in the formation, and allowing easy reporting back to Head Quarters. The Fiona 6x6 APC is also fitted out with numerous electrical sockets. There are 2x12 volt outputs in the driver's compartment, as well as a further 4 x 12volt power outlets in the crew compartment. There is also a 24V-220V power inverter that is connected to 4 x 220volt three pm plug outlets, which allows operation and charge of countless electrical components. An electric 10 tons self-recovery winch is mounted at the front of the vehicle.
