Design and protection |
The layout of the Peacekeeper PRV (Protected Response Vehicle) is very similar to a standard military truck with the engine at the front, the crew cabin in the middle and the troops compartment at the rear. The vehicle carries a total of 12 military personnel, including driver and commander. The front of the crew cabin is fitted with two large bullet proof window and one single door on each side. The troop compartment is at the rear of the vehicle and the troops enter and leave via a power-operated ramp. Each side of the troops compartment is fitted with four small bullet proof windows. The armour of the Peacekeeper PRV offers protection for the crew against firing of small arms and shell splinters.

Mobility |
The Peacekeeper PRV (Protected Response Vehicle) uses the powerpack and suspension of Renault truck with two wheels at the front and four wheels at the rear. The vehicle can run at a maximum speed of 90 km/h. The PRV can negotiate gradients up to 60%, side slope of 30% fording depth of 0.8 m without preparation.

Accessories |
Standard equipment of the Peacekeeper PRV includes rear video camera, fire suppression system and protected fuel tank compartment. The vehicle is also fitted with Anti-Lock Braking System which prevents wheels from locking and skidding in slippery surfaces. The Central Tyre Inflation System is also available to control the pressure on each tyre to improve performance on different surfaces. This system works together with a run-flat system to protect against tyre punctures.
