Design and protection
The IAG Armored Water Cannon is engineered with a fully armored cabin up to CEN B7/NIJ IV and STANAG 4569 Level II, providing complete ballistic, mine-blast, and IED (Improvised Explosive Device) protection. The 360-degree armoring protects the driver and all passengers from ballistic and explosive threats. The vehicle can accommodate up to 6 people. The unique engineering and construction of the armor design utilized in the vehicle allows the weight of the doors to be transmitted directly onto the vehicle structure and distributes weight in such a way as to allow the use of heavy-duty steel door hinge components without the risk of excess stresses. Doors are also protected against external attempts to remove them. In addition to the blast-resistant floor, an internal heavy-duty aluminum checkered floor has been installed for durability and easy cleaning.

Mobility
The IAG Armored Water Cannon is powered by a Euro 3-compliant six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine equipped with an intercooler, delivering a displacement of 12,880 cm³. The powerplant generates a maximum output of 440 horsepower at 1,900 rpm and produces 2,100 Nm of torque over the 900–1,500 rpm operating range, providing strong low-end pulling capability for urban and off-road riot-control operations. To ensure reliable performance in extreme climates, the vehicle is fitted with a reinforced water-cooling system optimized for tropical environments. Air intake filtration is handled by a vertically mounted dry-type air cleaner specifically designed for dusty road and cross-country conditions.
The transmission system consists of a fully automatic gearbox with 16 forward gears and 2 reverse gears, while retaining manual gear selection for enhanced driver control in demanding operational scenarios. Power distribution is managed by a two-speed transfer gearbox equipped with a differential lock, operated via an ADM-controlled switch system to improve traction on difficult terrain. -
