Design |
The SH-3 (Sky Hawk 3) uses technologies of SH-1. The SH-3 adopts a twin-boom configuration with a two-blade pusher propeller driven by piston engine, and it also adopts a inverted v-tail. The aerodynamic layout of the SH-3 UAV features a square cross section fuselage, non-tapering wings, rear skids and reversed V-type fins. The square fuselage enables easy equipment installation. The slight dihedral and mounting angle on the wings increase the stability and reduce the drag. The rudders on the rear edge of the fins can control both the UAV pitch and course.

Mobility |
The SH-3 Sky Hawk 3 is powered by a single gasoline engine to provide required electricity for the aircraft during its operation in air. The SH-3 flies at a height of 3,000m and can carry a maximum payload of 5 kg. It has the capacity to fly at a maximum speed of 120 km/h with an endurance of 6 to 8 hours.

Payloads equipment |
The SH-3 Sky Hawk 3 has a maximum payload of 5 kg. It can carry HD digital camera, infrared camera etc. which are used for low altitude image recording and large area and scene aerial photo view. It can also carry weather sensor for weather measurement. |
Combat use |
The SH-3 Sky Hawk 3 UAV system is mainly used for tactical aerial reconnaissance and battlefield surveillance to patrol and monitor roads, high mountains and deep gullies, long and narrow routes, and monitor large areas such as lake, plateau and forest. It can also carry meteorological sensors to acquire meteorological information.
