MSPO 2018: AMZ launches new TUR VI light armoured patrol vehicle


The Polish vehicles manufacturer AMZ, based in Kutno, is introducing a new light armoured patrol vehicle dubbed TUR VI at this year’s MSPO defense and security exhibition, being held in Kielce (Poland).

The TUR VI was especially designed to perform different types of security missions and specific tasks like peacekeeping operations or convoy escort, EOD, Ambulance, Urban or Border patrolling. The TUR VI armored security vehicle is a modular vehicle which is completely flexible and adoptable for such tasks.

The TUR VI has a classical layout with engine at the front and crew compartment at the rear. There is two large bulletproof windows at the front and the commander and driver both have a rear-opening side door. One more additional door is available on each side of the hull that open to the rear.

The TUR VI is powered by a V8 diesel engine (362 hp) linked to a 5-speed automatic transmission that ensuring power and resilience through any terrain. The TUR VI internal layout is designed to accommodate a 10-member crew including driver and commander but best of all is that seating configuration can be adjusted as per client requirement. The TUR VI has a 150 liters

The vehicle offers protection against IEDs and all small arms, hand grenades and fragmentation with its (firing of small arms 7.62x51mm caliber) Level I protection armor. The TUR VI is capable of carrying both remote and manual weapon systems.

Optional equipment includes AC system, independent heating system, CBRN filtration system, heated windscreen and side windows, firing ports with visors, run-flat wheel system and front electric winch.

The TUR VI is a powerful and versatile vehicle which is easily adapted at production to comply with mission specific requirements.
