The new aircraft is likely to enter service in 2020, the selection process ending mid-2015 will be based on the platform’s ability to be updated during its operational life, its operations and maintenance costs, and also a willingness by the companies to develop industrial relationships with Danish industry. Since 2012, Denmark is a Level 3 signatory to the Joint Strike Fighter program although it does not oblige it to purchase the aircraft. |
