The
Iran's military successfully fired home-made high-precision missiles,
Toufan (Hurricane) and Dehlaviyeh, and optimized air-to-ground tactical
maverick missiles during the military drills underway in Southern Iran
on Friday, December 26. |

The
anti-armor Toufan and Dehlaviyeh missiles successfully hit and destroyed
their targets during the wargames in the Southern and Southeastern parts
of Iran.
Toufan was fired both from land and helicopters during the drills. Dehlaviyeh is a laser-guided anti-armor missile capable of hitting mobile and stationary targets exactly like its foreign version which is AGM-114 Hellfire. "The high-precision Toufan missile with a range of 4km can both be used as a land-based missile and be fired from helicopters during the wargames," Iranian Ground Force Commander Brigadier General Pourdastan told FNA on Thursday. |

The
optimized Maverick air-to-ground missiles were fired on the fourth day
of Mohammad Rasoulallah (PBUH) drills on Sunday by F-4 and Sukhoi 24 fighter
jets to support the Naval units present in the wargames zone.
The missiles have been produced by the Iranian defensive industries and supplied to the Air Force. Also,
conducting air patrol missions, aerial refueling with Sukhoi 24 jets and
supporting other units were among the other drilling plans of the Iranian
Air Force in the fourth stage of the wargames. |
