Insitu lands $7.7Mn FMS from Iraq for six ScanEagle UAS
|

Insitu has been awarded a $7,758,625 contract for the procurement of six ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems for the Iraqi armed forces under the Foreign Military Sales program, the US DoD announced on Sept. 28, 2017.

Under this order, Insitu will provide ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems, as well as related support equipment, training, site activation, technical services, and data for the government of Iraq.
"Work will be performed in Baghdad, Iraq (67 percent); Bingen, Washington (30 percent); and Hood River, Oregon (3 percent), and is expected to be completed in August 2018. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity," the US DoD said. |
