The contract was signed between Christophe Bruneau, EPI President and DATO’ Nonee Ashirin Dato’ Mohd Radzi, GTA Chairman and CEO after they led the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak on a tour of the Safran booth. EPI, with its local partner GTA, has been providing In Service Support for the Malaysian government since November 2015. The first phase of the contract, which will be expiring end of October 2017, will be continued with the second phase of support where GTA will be granted the prime contractor role. The second phase will commence on 1st November 2017. Dato’ Nonee explained that dedicated Customer Support (CSR), Field Support Representative and Logistics Support Representative are already based in their Subang facility to ensure continued real time support for their aircraft engines. Christophe Bruneau said “Our partnership with GTA on the TP400-D6 ISS has been positive, giving us the confidence to continue working with them for the second phase of the contract”. EPI has agreed to assist and support GTA in obtaining the final Approved Maintenance Organisation certification from EPI, EASA, and Directorate General Technical Airworthiness. |
