The Veresk system has been designed to jam fighter on-board radars, radar weapons control of air defense missile systems, active and semi-active guided missiles with RF seekers. The system detects ranging signals of illuminating radars or weapons control, analyses and retransmits them providing with special amplitude, frequency, phase and polarization modulation.
For each particular air defense system, Veresk generates multiple and/or single imitating active jams combined according to direction and selection parameters. Veresk development program included flight test with air defense and airborne platforms, such as SAM Osa-AKM, Buk air defense system and MiG-29 fighter jet. |

The Veresk works in G, H, I and J frequency range and can simultaneously work in forward and aft hemisphere.
BSVT said the Veresk is fitted with an internal threat library capable of expansion thanks to software upgrade. This library includes aircraft, such as the MiG-23/25/29/31, the Su-27/30, as well as Western fighter jets, such as the Eurofighter Typhoon, F-22 and F-16 aircraft. The Verserk pod can additionally jam radar systems R-27, RVV-AE, AIM-120 AMRAAM, Meteor, and AIM-54 air-to-air missiles, and S-300B, 9M317 Buk, MIM-104 Patriot, MIM-23B Hawk surface-to-air missiles. |
