Alliance Ground Surveillance (AGS) system will give commanders a comprehensive picture of the situation on the ground. The AGS system is acquired by 14 Allies (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and the United States). The AGS Core will be an integrated system consisting of an air segment, a ground segment and a support segment.

The ground segment will provide an interface between the AGS Core system and a wide range of command, control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C2ISR) systems to interconnect with and provide data to multiple deployed and non-deployed operational users, including reach-back facilities remote from the surveillance area.

The ground segment component will consist of a number of ground stations in various configurations, such as mobile and transportable, which will provide data-link connectivity, data-processing and exploitation capabilities and interfaces for interoperability with C2ISR systems.

Mobile Ground Exploitation Component (MGEC) AGS operator workstation is intended to be used for exploitation and evaluation of information coming from number of sensors which participate in AGS program. MGEC AGS operator workstation was designed, manufactured and integrated into MGEC AGS shelter by RETIA. a s. company according to the customer's requirements. The most important requirement was to ensure that integrated computer and two displays would not be harmed during transport or movement. MGEC AGS operator workstation fulfils all ergonomic requirements set for mobile assets operators. MGEC AGS operator workstation not only corresponds to the most demanding requirements in the area of computer performance and displays resolution but also to operational and storage temperatures.

MGEC AGS operator workstation consists of rugged computer CS 334 equipped by Intel Core i7-3615QE processor, two 24’’ LCD displays TL-361CB 28 R. keyboard and mouse. The workstation is supported by power supply, TEMPEST filter and Ethernet switch. MGEC AGS operator workstation successfully passed TEMPEST test at the Czech National Security Agency.
