The "HARPAS" system is a cutting-edge hybrid artillery weapon designed to provide robust anti-aircraft defense for troops and critical infrastructure. Its primary function is to counter threats from airplanes, helicopters, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). What makes this system particularly unique is its integration onto the tracked chassis of the M84 Main Battle Tank, a Serbian adaptation of the Russian T-72 MBT. This integration ensures superior mobility on the battlefield and offers robust protection to the crew, devices, and instruments against small arms fire and artillery shell fragments.

Armed to the teeth, the "HARPAS" boasts two 40 mm L/70 Bofors guns with a maximum firing range of 3.7 km. Additionally, it is equipped with two types of 170 mm anti-aircraft missiles, the RLN-TK and RLN-RF, both having a firing range of 12 km and an altitude reach of 8 km. The system can store 200 rounds for the L/70 Bofors and has a capacity for four missiles. The Bofors gun utilizes two types of ammunition: the HE-T projectile and a bullet with a prefragmented projectile combined with a proximity fuze instrumental.

One of the standout features of the "HARPAS" system is its advanced radar capabilities. The short-range tactical radar can detect targets with a small reflective surface in any weather condition, whether stationary or on the move. It boasts a detection range of 120 km and an altitude of 20 km. Furthermore, the radar employs artificial intelligence algorithms for target classification, ensuring precision and accuracy in threat detection.

To complement its formidable armament and radar capabilities, the "HARPAS" is equipped with a state-of-the-art fire control system. This system incorporates a laser range finder and a computerized firing control mechanism with aiming devices, ensuring that every shot counts.
