The
pre-production prototype will showcase the step-change in armoured fighting
vehicle capability being delivered to the British Army. |

Protected Mobility Recce Support (PMRS) will be used to deliver and support specialist troops across the battlefield to enable organic combined arms manoeuvre at the lowest tactical level alongside SCOUT equipped troops. PMRS provides safe transportation of the modern, fully equipped, soldier in a well protected environment. On dismount, the fully briefed troops will be able to more effectively conduct a variety of tasks such as dismounted surveillance (including patrols), observation posts and close target reconnaissance. It will also serve in a variety of non-specialist Liaison Officer roles, including Forward Air Controllers. |

At DVD, the Scout SV PMRS was armed with a Remote Weapon Station Kongsberg, armed with a 12.7mm machine gun. |
